Thrift 4 People

You Thrift & We Gift

Context
In my hometown, there was a lack of affordable, boutique-style thrift stores and limited access to post–high school education resources.

Insight
Access, both to style and education, shouldn’t be limited by cost.

Big Idea
Create a nonprofit pop-up thrift store that funds education, making curated style accessible while directly supporting community college scholarships.

Execution

  • Founded and art-directed the pop-up thrift store concept and visual identity

  • Developed a pricing model that kept items affordable while allocating 75% of profits to scholarships

  • Curated and merchandised inventory to reflect a boutique-style thrift experience

  • Collaborated with designer Merritt Schall to bring the brand to life visually

  • Activated the pop-up as both a retail space and a community-driven initiative

Process
Identified local gaps through community awareness, developed the concept and mission, built the brand identity, curated inventory, and executed the pop-up experience with a focus on accessibility and impact.
